Hualang Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd. (HRESB) incorporated in 2010 is a wholly own subsidiary of Jaya Kuasa Berhad, a public limited company involved in construction, property development and investment.

Hualang Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd. (HRESB) is headed by its Executive Chairman Dato’ Indera Syed Norulzaman Bin Syed Kamarulzaman and who is also the Chairman of two listed public companies at the BURSA Saham KL Malaysia, which are, OCK Group Berhad and Yong Tai Berhad. The other Corporate Directors of HRESB are Tan Sri Datin Paduka Seri Hajah Zaleha Ismail (Group Chairman), Dato’ Setia Dr. JP Tan (Group President) and Mr. Yosafat Bin Yusuf a businessman from Sulawesi Indonesia and Low Yee Doo the Financial Director.

Hualang Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd. (HRESB) currently owns two subsidiary companies, namely HRE Kina Biopower Sdn Bhd and HRE Seguntor Bioenergy Sdn Bhd. Both companies currently operating two biomass power plants of 11.5MW at Seguntor Industrial Estate, Sandakan Sabah and is headed by its Executive Director Dato’ Ir. Dr. Ali Askar Bin Sher Mohamad who was formally the COO of SEDA and a former Tenaga Nasional Berhad Engineer and Senior Management.

HRESB consists of numerous former technical staff from TNB - En. Azhar Anas, SESB - Mr. Charles Dalansing with strategic partners which include SMEC and SHER Consultancy.

A subsidiary of Jaya Kuasa Berhad currently working on the proposal of coal fired power plant with a capacity of 1300MW along the coastline of Pahang bordering Pekan District and Bebar. The project is on a joint venture with the State owned Enterprise of the State Government of Pahang which is Pahang Technology Resources Sdn. Bhd. (PTRSB) and in collaboration with KUB Power Sdn. Bhd. subsidiary of KUB Malaysia Berhad as well as HSS Engineers Berhad, both public listed companies on the Malaysian Stock Exchange.

BEBAR Power Station Sdn. Bhd. is currently chaired by its Executive Chairman, the Hon. Chief Minister of Pahang State, YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Wan Rosdy bin Wan Ismail and the Board of Directors consist of Deputy Chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr. Suleiman Bin Mohamad, Executive Directors are YB Dato’ Sri Diraja Adnan Yaakob, YH Dato’ Indera Syed Norulzaman, YH Dato’ Sharifah Fatimah, Dato Setia Dr. JP Tan, and Low Yee Doo.

A subsidiary of Jaya Kuasa Berhad involved in the Energy Sector specializing for Hydro Electric Power and the Oil & Gas Consultancy in Sabah and Sarawak. TransBorneo strategic partners include an established consultancy company, SMEC and SHER Consultancy in Malaysia with wide experience in the study of Hydro Electric Power and Water Retaining Structures together with a state own enterprises.

TransBorneo Energy Sdn. Bhd. have submitted a few proposals for Mini Hydro Power Generation (ROR) both in Sabah and Sarawak.
